Flying can be very expensive, for disabled people the costs can be even higher as they may need longer to train or to find the type of flying and launch that suits them. We provide a range of scholarships to help cover these additional costs and encourage disabled people to become qualified hang glider and paraglider pilots.
Flyability owns a range of specialist equipment that can be loaned to clubs and schools for training. We also keep track of developments in equipment and can offer advice to pilots, clubs or schools wanting to buy their own equipment.
The people who we have helped to fly have come up with a huge variety of practical flying solutions. These techniques could be useful to anyone learning to fly or instructing trainee pilots.
